We started practicing making Christmas wreaths some have never done it before we had a job to finish as everyone was enthusiastic we also sown trays of sweet peas, lettuce, spinach, onions and basil.
Potted on our cuttings of saintpaulia into pots put them in a frame in the glasshouse as they need extra protection from the cold
Horticulture mad volunteer for a local Sprowston Glasshouse Growers Project also with a group of young who wish to learn how to grow plants also widened our growing production to involve a Sensory garden at the Sprowston Library .We have also completed a small heritage fruit orchard in Sprowston growing a number of rare varieties local to Norfolk
The project also helps with teaching gardening skills young and old and we have areas which have been taken in wildflower border, sensory garden, also a free patch which people can help themselves on a barter operation called GROW FREE
